The Art of the Yamas and Niyamas

"Combining their amazing talents, Bruce and Monica have given us a powerful way of understanding Yoga as self-expression."

-Desirée Rumbaugh, Anusara Teacher

These 10 inspirational cards were developed for teachers and students of yoga. One side depicts the essence of the yama or niyama with color, postures and symbolism in the details. The other side contains prose, which can be used as a reading to set the theme of a class or to inspire your own practice. Use the cards daily by scanning through the artwork to see which card appeals to you, then placing it on the plastic stand as a reminder of your practice. The cards were designed so that you will see something new each time, in its art, in its words and in yourself.

Rave Reviews:

"The most important part of our work is our hands-on programs for at-risk girls.
In the winter courses, we study the yamas and niyamas in depth as the girls
journal for self-reflection after an hour of yoga asana. We have enjoyed using
your cards in the yoga portion and read your text when the girls practiced
the specific poses you taught us to represent the yama or niyama."
